Hi everyone, hope you are well. Here is another make from me for Polkadoodles. The challenge this week was a Friends card so I chose the cutest stamp Horace & Boo Great Friends stamp and stamped it onto a die cut circle.  I used my Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils to colour them.  I made up a 6 x 6 card base using several papers from the paper pack Scrumptious Sugar and distressed the edges.  Using the Delicate Daisy die I die cut 2 daisy's, added some soft colour and placed them just behind the image. I decorated the inside of the card and also the envelope using a flower stamp from the Great Day Florals set. The pencils I used for this card were....133 - 189 - 187 - 176 - 182 - 179 - 173 - 168 - 127 - 129 - 119 - 132 - 103 & warm greys III - IV - I Thanks again for stopping by and I hope you like the card and I have given you some crafting inspiration!

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. Thanks for stopping by to take a look at my latest make! This card I have made for a special person and I hope you like it as much as I do...I used the Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs Stampers Anonymous stamp set which is so much fun to work with. I then stamped the larger doggo out onto a separate piece of kraft card and fussy cut him out.  I then used the fabulous sentiment from Heffy Doodle to hold open the easel card along with some papers from Craft Consortium.  I coloured the 3 dogs using Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils  Warm Greys VI V IV III I Cold Grey VI V III Burnt Umber Burnt Sienna Brown Ochre Dark Sepia Black White Ivory Sanguine Terracotta  Dark C

Hi everyone. Hope you have had all had a good week. The weather has been pretty awful in the UK for June...fingers crossed it brightens up in July...however the one good thing about it is it makes us want to stay in and create and craft!! Here is a birthday card I have made using some fabulous new products from Chloes Creative Cards....the stamp and die set Fabulous Floral Frame. I started out with a 6 x 6 card and cut a slightly smaller topper that I edged with a copic pen for a highlight. I then added another top that I distressed the edges of the card and then ink blended the background...just very lightly....using distress ink Tattered Rose. I stamped out the floral frame twice from Chloes Creative Cards, once onto card and once onto vellum and heat embossed them using a mixture of the Wow embossing powders trios dappled effects peach and pink by Marion Emberson. I then die cut out the card frame and fussy cut out some of the vellum flowers from the other one..... I then stamped

Hi Everyone, it's digichooseday today over at Polkadoodles so why not pop over to the website, grab some great digi products & get today's discount! Here is another card I have made using some fabulous Polkadoodles stamps and papers. For this card I used the lovely stamp set Great Day Florals PD7148. The 'brief' for this card make was no pinks - that is a hard call when making flower cards as I always tend to go for pinks!  So this time I had to think about colour schemes! I started off by ink blending a 6 x 6  card base and stamped several of the flowers and toadstools onto the base; I shaded some and left some parts clear.   I also stamped out several of the larger flowers and toadstools, coloured them in using Faber Castel Polychromos and then fussy cut them out to add to the card front to add depth. I then added some papers from the Vintage Candy paper pack PD8004 for the inside and added a blank insert to write a message - but I also stamped a flower from the s

'TOGETHER' USING TRACEY HEY STAMPS AND PAPERS

Hi everyone, here is another card I have made using the fabulous stamp set, 'Together' from Tracey Hey Alpaca Pals. I figured it could be used as a great anniversary card. I started off with a 6 x 6 card base and cut a topper using the papers from the Tracey Hey paper pad 'Pop of Pastel' I then stamped out the images of the cutest two elephants using the same paper pad and added a little shading with some Faber-Castel pencils. I also stamped out the flower and umbrella and then added these to the topper. I did this twice but only shaded one of each; i then fussy cut them all out and glued the unshaded ones to the ones i had shaded to give them some added strength. I then added some papers from the same paper pad to the inside of the card along with an insert to write your greeting and used the other sentiment stamp from the stamp set along with the flower and vine. Finally I stamped one of the elephant images and the sweet little bird onto the envelope and made up a tin
