HAPPY BIRTHDAY FABULOUS FLORALS & GARDEN FRIENDS

 Hi everyone. Hope you have had all had a good week. The weather has been pretty awful in the UK for June...fingers crossed it brightens up in July...however the one good thing about it is it makes us want to stay in and create and craft!!

Here is a birthday card I have made using some fabulous new products from Chloes Creative Cards....the stamp and die set Fabulous Floral Frame.



I started out with a 6 x 6 card and cut a slightly smaller topper that I edged with a copic pen for a highlight. I then added another top that I distressed the edges of the card and then ink blended the background...just very lightly....using distress ink Tattered Rose.

I stamped out the floral frame twice from Chloes Creative Cards, once onto card and once onto vellum and heat embossed them using a mixture of the Wow embossing powders trios dappled effects peach and pink by Marion Emberson. I then die cut out the card frame and fussy cut out some of the vellum flowers from the other one.....


I then stamped the sweetest little swinging hedgehog into the centre of the floral frame using a stamp from Penny Black Garden Friends. I coloured her in using Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. 

For the inside I used papers from The Paper Tree Forest Tales, decorated the insert and envelope with stamps from the same stamp set Garden Friends.


Finally I made up a teeny little gift bag to add a gift card or some money using the same papers and added another flower and obvioulsy some sparkle and bling...and there you have it!

  Hi everyone, hope you are all well. Thanks for stopping by to take a look at my latest make! The weather here in England seems to have finally taken a turn for the better with the sun finally make an appearance...let's hope it lasts! This card I have made for a special person and I hope you like it as much as I do...I used the Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs Stampers Anonymous stamp set which is so much fun to work with. I chose 3 of the dogs and stamped two directly onto a 6 x 6 card base after having run the bottom half through a paw print embossing folder from Darice ... BIRTHDAY CARD USING TRACEY HEY 1st CLASS CUTIES

  Hi everyone. Hope you have all had a great week! I have been busy working & crafting in my spare time...and enjoying the warm weather that has finally arrived! Here is a card I made using the fabulous stamp set '1st Class Cuties' & paper pad 'Animal Magic' from Tracey Hey. I stamped the animals directly onto the paper pad, fussy cut them out and added some shading using Prismacolor pencils.  I then distressed inked a background for a 6 x 6 card using bundled sage and shabby shutters along with squeezed lemonade to give the impression of sunshine. I also stamped some leaves using Versafine Clair Sahdy Lane. I cut out some long grass using an old die from my stash and then assembled the card. I stamped and coloured the insert and envelope using same stamps, inks and pencils....and made a little gift card or money holder.... ONE SMALL DIE....THREE QUICK CARDS

    Hi and welcome to my blog....here are three cards I have made just using one die! The die is from Alexandra Renke and is the Layered Butterfly 3. For each butterfly I used a variety of papers from Polkadoodles paper pads for the lower wings and then vellum papers from Chloes Creative cards, called watercolour washes for the upper wings. For the Get Well Card I used a sentiment stamp from Molly Blooms and the embossing folder is from Nellies Choice called Hearts.... For the Especially For You, again I used a stamp from Molly Blooms and the embossing folder again is Nellies Choice called Spring Flowers.... The final card is always one of the hardest to make, With Symapthy...the embossing folder is as the others and called Writing.....
